Issue#1421: Unity - Rotating on X axis causing Y and Z to change and swap...

  • Hey all,

    This has been bugging me all day, and so I've stripped back all of the code and gotten to this in the FixedUpdate
    (FYI, starting rotations on X, Y and Z are 270, 180 and 0 respectively)

    It happens in all my projects, and it only happens after I open VS (double click on script), make a script change, hit save..I can fix 'one' of the errors(warnings), unity re compiles...and Editor comes back to normal..for awhile..then back to that behavior,,, This is blocking my development chi....(I could fix every single warning)... here is the thing..under 'preferences', attach to editor...I can not Turn that Off...EVER....     Hello everyone,. I am new in CFX. I simulated horizontal axis wind turbine through MRF approach. Rotating domain with turbine blade kept inside stationary domain. Boundary conditions; stationary : Velocity inlet, pressure outlet slip walls for top and bottom and periodic for side wall (120 deg sect). Rotating : blade - no slip wall, side walls rotational periodic. interfaces with stationary domain - frozen rotor>pitch-none . My simulation got converged.   • Issue#96001: Unity - Stopping Rigidbody 2D from rotating along any axis?

    Is there any way to stop the 2D Rigidbody from rotating? i don't need it to rotate in any axis so i was wondering if there was something i could do to completely disable the rotation - I'm getting this a lot in a game I'm making for college and its becoming a bit of a pain haha. thanks for any help in advance.

    Hi, I'm tired with this issue, and need some help. I control a ball by rotating a flat platform on X and Z axes. I try to hold my ball position always on the top of my platform surface. But immediate rotation causing that ball leaves the surface. Basically I used OverpamSphere to measure distance. Every frame I check distance between the sphere and the platform, but I have no idea, how to impl in my code, that if distance > 0 {stick to platform on Y axis}.

    Hi guys, have a question on the WorldtoScreenPoint. I'm trying to figure out the screen position of a GameObject which appears on the screen(OVR Camera). For example, let's say the screen size is 1024x768. If an object goes above the upper border line of the screen, its screen position of y should be more than 768. But it shows lower value than 768 at the upper border line. It tells me than actual y-axis border line is larger than the screen I see (I attached an image file to help you...     Hi, in my game when the user tilts their phone screen left or right I would like the game object to rotate its y axis left or right depending on the acceleration. The game object is constantly moving forward so to turn I will just make it that the player tilts to rotate the object and it should hopefully turn it since it is always moving forwards.     I have some animated characters in the scene. All characters have humanoid type animations and i we are using animator controller. In unity 5.2.3 everyting just fine but after upgrade to 5.3, In Android device, If i change their rotation during animation, they are start to fly into sky. If i try same thing in Editor everything is work fine. I spent lots of time to find a solution but i couldn't and i downgrade unity to 5.2.3 again.
